    chore(preview-kafka): single-broker ephemeral (emptyDir) — kill EBS leak

    Preview Kafka was 3 brokers + 3 controllers + 1 entity-operator (7 pods),
    backed by PVCs on ssd-retain. PR close deletes the namespace but leaks
    the EBS volume — $8+/PR/mo orphan storage forever.

    Standardising on Deadpool's ephemeral pattern:
    - controller.replicas: 1, broker.replicas: 1
    - storage.type: ephemeral (Strimzi-managed emptyDir, dies with the pod)
    - broker config: replication.factor + min.insync.replicas dropped to 1
    - log.retention.hours: 6 (preview turnaround is hours, not days)
    - resources halved on both pools
